Planting
No matter what size project, the design process is vital in order to achieve the right garden for each individual. A good design reflects all of your desires for your garden, both practical and emotional and makes the best of the available space.
The design process begins with an informal consultation to discuss your wishes for your garden. This either includes or is followed by a site survey which enables scale drawings to be produced. After these have taken place we can then move on to produce:
- Rough designs for discussion, possibly including mood boards
- detailed, scale drawings
- 3D CAD images
Follow up meetings will then refine the chosen design and add details such as materials and planting and be used to define the budget.
Having agreed the design, the next stage is providing a build estimate and outline timing plan. These can be discussed and adapted to suit your needs.
We will then move on to the installation of the garden; always ensuring minimum mess and intrusion whilst maintaining the highest construction standards throughout.
During the construction process, we are happy to discuss and address any queries you may have in order to provide a tailored service and a truly bespoke garden space.
This is an area in which we take time and great care to achieve high quality planting schemes that work.
Working to the tried and tested formula of right plant, right place we start by looking at the soil and general site conditions to ensure any plants chosen have a good chance of survival. We can improve soil conditions or look at irrigation systems to provide an optimum environment for different plants if required.
We work with you to find out what you are looking for in terms of colour, style and maintenance levels. Combining your vision with our own expertise, we create a planting scheme we feel works best for your garden.
Following planting, we offer after-care assistance. This can be either hands-on or in the form of a written care plan for your new plants.
