Planting
No matter what size project, the design process is vital in order to achieve the right garden for each individual. A good design reflects all the clients desires for their garden, both practical and emotional and makes the best of the available space.
The design process can be tailored to suit you but generally begins with an informal consultation to discuss your wishes for your garden. This either includes or is followed by a site survey which enables scale drawings to be produced. After these have taken place we can then move on to produce:
- Rough designs for discussion, possibly including mood boards
- detailed, scale drawings
- 3D CAD images
Follow up meetings will then refine the chosen design and add details such as materials and planting etc. And of course be used to define the budget.
At the end of the design process, having agreed the design we will then provide a build estimate and outline timing plan.
Having agreed this we will then move on to the installation of the garden always ensuring minimum mess and intrusion whilst ensuring the highest construction standards are maintained throughout.
Alternatively we are happy to work with your chosen contractor.
This is an area in which we take time and great care to achieve high quality planting schemes that work. Working to the tried and tested formula of right plant, right place.
Of course we can improve soil conditions or look at irrigation systems to provide optimum conditions for different plants, but we start by working with what has been provided. We then look work with our clients to find out what they are looking for in this area. In terms of colour, style, maintenance levels and of course what works with the design if applicable.
This information is then mixed with our own expertise and knowledge of the design to create a planting scheme that works in tandem with the garden and the clients desires.
Because we love planting so much this is a service we are more than happy to offer on its own. Whether it be a simple planting plan and advice or planting of an existing site we can produce stunning results.
